#ZeneBiH (#WomenOfBiH) is a book about 50+ remarkable Bosnian women who shattered stereotypes and advocated women’s rights and emancipation. It celebrates those who decided to pursue education when women were not allowed to do so, promoted women’s rights at a time when they did not even exist, fought against fascism... Those who were (or are) one of the greatest treasures of my homeland. The project has since grown into a wider artistic and activist initiative. Co-written and published by me, Masha Durkalic and Hatidza Gusic.
Illustrated by 50 talented female Bosnian illustrators, designers & artists. Crowdfunded by 561 people from 25 countries. It was the most successful crowdfunding campaign in BiH ever, with 513% funds gathered.
